Fingerboard
Fingerboard is a powerfull tool for Jazz Guitarists. This application allows you to see the guitar fingerings for a multitude of different scales.
A good jazz guitarist can combine chords and scales in new and interesting ways; this application helps simplify the rather complex music theory process and helps you learn.
With this app you can easily overlay a pentatonic scale over a major scale and see where the two scales overlap.
Working on a key change? no problem. With this tool you can overlay any two scales in any key and step back and forth between the scales with ease.
This app will also allow you to display the chord tones for any of the chords in the scale, this allows you to play all of those interesting chord inversions and arpegioes with ease.
This app is a work in progess, and I have aspirations to add support for other string instruments if the demand is there. Please let me know what you want to see in future releases of this software by sending me an email.
